Design proposal for a residence situated within the South Downs National Park. Half of the space is flanked on three sides by flint barns with the remaining half bound by flint walls
Alexandra’s design puts forward an orthogonal layout which includes a square lawn for children to play, generous planting beds as well as a central terrace with fire pit surrounded by lounge chairs. Two further terraces are situated for dining in both the morning and evening light
The intended planting will incorporate many self-seeding perennials, annuals and biennials amongst a matrix of ornamental grasses. Several multi-stem trees will be sourced to structure the space and provide vertical interest
